The Happiness I Feel at Your Achievements

The happiness I feel at your achievements
Reflects the happiness you feel at mine.
Friends expand the pleasures of such moments,
As mine in yours, and yours in mine, combine.
The same when we look forward to our futures:
So much more unfolds when there are two!
Populating your proposed adventures
Gives me a joy that mine must give to you.
We've been through much, and will be through much more,
But traveling together is more fun.
Whatever life and love may have in store,
Two is always preferable to one.
Your graduation thus becomes my pleasure:
Your happiness is mine, a double treasure.

till death do us part

A girl and a boy
were on a motorcycle, speeding through the night. They loved each other a lot..

Girl: "slow down a little.. I'm scared.."
Boy: "No, it's so fun.."
Girl: "please..it's so scary.."
Boy: "Then say that you love me.."
Girl: "Fine..I love you..can you slow down now?"
Boy: "Give me a big hug.."

The girl gave him a big hug.

Girl: "Now can you slow down?"
Boy: "Can you take off my helmet and put it on? It's uncomfortable and its bothering me while i drive."

The next day, there was a story in the newspaper. A motorcycle had crashed into a building because its brakes were broken. There were two people on the motorcycle, of which one died, and the other had survived......

The guy knew that the brakes were broken. He didn't want to let the girl know, because he knew that the girl would have gotten scared. Instead, he was told the last time that she loved him, got a hug from
her, put his helmet on her so that she can live, and died himself...:(

acceptance

Lets face the truth that there are some kind of idiot like me whose so afraid to get mistakes. I do love to be corrected, but it just hurt at first. Lets face it, we can easily say that we love to be corrected, but its kinda hard to digest it at first. I know I am right, we often get mad to the people who's correcting us, but in the end, we realized that they are right. Sometimes, due to pride, we keep it ourselves and never thanks them for correcting us...

Recipe For Happiness

Too many people put off something that brings them joy just because they haven't thought about it, don't have it on their schedule, didn't know it was coming or are too rigid to depart from their routine.

I got to thinking one day about all those women on the Titanic who passed up dessert at dinner that fateful night in an effort to cut back. From then on, I've tried to be a little more flexible.

How many women out there will eat at home because their husband didn't suggest going out to dinner until after something had been thawed? Does the word 'refrigeration' mean nothing to you?

How often have your kids dropped in to talk and sat in silence while you watched 'Jeopardy' on television?

I cannot count the times I called my sister and said, 'How about going to lunch in a half hour?' She would gas up and stammer, 'I can't. I have clothes on the line. My hair is dirty. I wish I had known yesterday, I had a late breakfast, It looks like rain.' And my personal favorite: 'It's Monday.' She died a few years ago. We never did have lunch together.

Because Americans cram so much into their lives, we tend to schedule our headaches. We live on a sparse diet of promises we make to ourselves when all the conditions are perfect!

We'll go back and visit the grandparents when we get Steve toilet-trained.. We'll entertain when we replace the living-room carpet... We'll go on a second honeymoon when we get two more kids out of college.

Life has a way of accelerating as we get older. The days get shorter, and the list of promises to ourselves gets longer. One morning, we awaken, and all we have to show for our lives is a litany of 'I'm going to,' 'I plan on,' and 'Someday, when things are settled down a bit.'

When anyone calls my 'seize the moment' friend, she is open to adventure and available for trips. She keeps an open mind on new ideas.. Her enthusiasm for life is contagious. You talk with her for five minutes, and you're ready to trade your bad feet for a pair of Roller blades and skip an elevator for a bungee cord.

My lips have not touched ice cream in 10 years. I love ice cream. It's just that I might as well apply it directly to my stomach with a spatula and eliminate the digestive process. The other day, I stopped the car and bought a triple-Decker. If my car had hit an iceberg on the way home, I would have died happy.

Now...go on and have a nice day. Do something you WANT to......not something on your SHOULD DO list. If you were going to die soon and had only one phone call you could make, who would you call and what would you say? And why are you waiting?

Have you ever watched kids playing on a merry go round or listened to the rain lapping on the ground? Ever followed a butter fly's erratic flight or gazed at the sun into the fading night? Do you run through each day on the fly? When you ask ' How are you?' Do you hear the reply?

When the day is done, do you lie in your bed with the next hundred chores running through your head? Ever told your child, 'We'll do it tomorrow.' And in your haste, not see his sorrow? Ever lost touch? Let a good friendship die? Just call to say 'Hi'?

When you worry and hurry through your day, it is like an unopened gift....Thrown away..... Life is not a race Take it slower. Hear the music before the song is over.

It's National Friendship Week every week. Show your friends how much you care. Send this to everyone you consider a FRIEND. If it comes back to you, then you'll know you have a circle of friends.

To those I have sent this to... I cherish our friendship and appreciate all you do.

'Life may not be the party we hoped for... But while we are here we might as well dance!'

lets grow old together

A gentle word like a spark of light,
Illuminates my soul
And as each sound goes deeper,
It's YOU that makes me whole

There is no corner, no dark place,
YOUR LOVE cannot fill
And if the world starts causing waves,
It's your devotion that makes them still

And yes you always speak to me,
In sweet honesty and truth
Your caring heart keeps out the rain,
YOUR LOVE, the ultimate roof

So thank you my Love for being there,
For supporting me, my life
I'll do the same for you, you know,
My Beautiful, Darling Wife.

move forward, fly high

The higher you wanted to fly,
the painful it will be when you fall down.
So secure your wings and check the wind.
Learn the dance of the sky
to glide properly with the clouds
and the other birds.
Some birds are harmful
and some are just nice.
Just like life,
there are also tricks up way there,
there are birds that looks so harmless
but really attacks like an eagle
so-hungry attacking an innocent chick.
The pressure up there is not that nice
so bring a lot of your comfort-air with you.

The weather is not like a green house weather
that only provides the warmth you need
and the coolness to make you stay crisp.
Sometimes, there's this shower rain
that will clean you up
from the dust you have encountered through the journey.
There will also be a day
that rain seems like to stay forever.
A storm is not banned to come,
like the cycle of the water,
storm is scheduled to precipitate your wings
enough water and coldness.
But dont loose hope,
you cant have a 365 rainy days for a whole year.
Sunny days are meant to dry your wings
and provide you enough warm
to gather the strength
you had lost during the cold winter
and rainy seasons.
Be careful of sunny days,
sometimes, sun comes with a heat
that will burn your perseverance
to soar more up high.
Just because you got wings,
the sky isn't a home for you,
you should also learn to touch the ground
to familiarize its roughness for your feet,
so you wont feel alienated during windy times
that you have to stay under a cave for a shelter.
Or when storm comes,
at least you know how to walk grounded.

Its a pleasurable thing to learn to soar up high,
but its also a must to learn to live the life on ground,
because the life,
just like wheels,
isn't always on top.
Up and down, there's no difference.
Life is more fun
if you know how to deal with its tricks.
You just have to be prepared,
and don't be afraid to take the risk
and always move forward.

Remember,
"There's no one principle that governs the whole society."

contented love

I cherish those moments when you would glance at me while doing something in your computer. Those tantalizing eyes that shows your soul, melts me every time you look my way. When saying something, those eyes told me that you are honest enough for me to say yes even if sometimes I don’t get you clearly. Your look melts my worries away. That even around those pretty girls, I will stand out the best, for I am the apple of your eyes.

I visualize your face as a painting boldly sketched to deliberately show its message. Those checks tanned just enough to provide manly color to your soft face. You may not look like those ghosts like stars in the movies, but your face shines like a smiling sun on my cloudy day. Your smile, the warmest and the sweetest I have known, starts and completes my day. Assuring me to face the world, your smile gives me security from those insecurities and lack-of-confidence times.

It feels like I am watching a waltz show every time you are near doing your things, and walking around. Your feet glides smoothly as you walk, with your hands sway in a rhythmic pattern. When you turn around, it looks like you are looking for your partner in the dance floor while waiting for her to hold your hand and sway all the way round the dance floor. Your shoulders though not buckled-up with muscles are strong enough to support your girl as you slowly spin her, examining her full beau.

The chest is always ready to catch her just in case both of you do a wrong step.

I treasure you like a sweet kiss that woke me up in the morning. With the pink sky that welcomes my sleepy eyes. Your warm smile burns the cold feeling in the morning. I hear your voice as a song sang to me by the angels when you called me to say that you are coming to stay in the night and that we will eat the ever romantic simple dinner you will prepare.

Your scent, I can still smell in the pillow you used last night. Lingering through the room it keeps as my companion when you’re out for work.

..............whoops...it’s just a dream.....

………….time to wake up.......

You are quietly lying beside me, with your face as innocent as ever. The fact that I woke up today with you by my side, made my day secured. Away from those worries that you might leave me and will never come back. That I wasn’t mistaken when I told myself I will grow old with you. That you will wait every time I’m late. That even if you will be late, you will still come. You won’t promise (because they are made to be broken), instead you will tell me you will love me no matter what.

Hay...

tnx to..

mystery of the morning

Morning Dew

Every morning as I slowly awake
to the warm glow of sunlight
I thank the Lord for the gift of life.

I anxiously await the exquisite moment
when my eyes meet the misty mountains
bathing in fresh rays of sunshine.

My heart is tamed by the glory of creation
I can only see eternity and breathe serenity.

How truly euphoric it would be
If we could walk together
barefoot amidst the dewy canopy of green
blessed by the purity and innocence of a new morn.

footprints on the moon

Never tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

why you should not quit

When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don't give up though the pace seems slow--
You may succeed with another blow,
Success is failure turned inside out--
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit--
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.

You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

FRIENDSHIP QUIZ

You don't actually have to take the quiz. Just read straight through, and you'll get the point.

Take this quiz:

1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.
2. Name the top five news stories five years ago.
3. Name ten presidents or leaders of the biggest countries in the world.
4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize.
5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winners for best actor or actress.
6. Name the last decade's worth of World Series winners.

How did you do?

The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday. These are no second-rate achievers. They are the best in their fields. But the applause dies. Awards tarnish. Achievements are forgotten. Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners.

Here's another quiz. See how you do on this one:

1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school.
2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time.
3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile.
4. Think of a few people who have made you feel, appreciated and special.
5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time with.
6. Name half a dozen heroes whose stories have inspired you. Easier?

The people who make a difference in your life are not the most powerful ones, nor have the most money or awards. They are the ones that care.

Size Of Your Heart

It isn't the size of your house as such
That matters so much at all.
It's the gentle hand and its loving touch,
That make it great or small.

The friends who come and the hour they spent
Who out of your house depart,
Will judge it not by the style you show,
But rather by the size of your heart.

It isn't the size of your head so much,
It isn't the wealth you found.
That will make you happy -- it's how you touch
The lives that are all around.

For making money is not hard --
To live life well is an art:
How people love you, how they regard,
Is all in the size of your heart.

isn't this great?...

Less Traveled.

Being a traveler is not a hard hobby. It was not just looking for the hidden paradise this country has. Traveling was not just meant for the pleasurable purposes.Traveling do not just include beaches, cliff, mountains, falls, and so much more exotic exciting sites.

It is to see every abstract thing that every site bear. Only a few travelers travel into remote and squatters area. Who would travel in a muddy and odorous areas to see whats happening in a very simple life of squatters family.

Behind tall buildings and big malls surrounding our country, are the crowded houses scattered in the remote areas. With thin and rusted roof, hardened papers as their walls and an empty rice box. A couple with three siblings dwells in poverty and struggles to live life as easy as they can.

Every morning, before anything else, they would fetch water first.Five pesos for every 2 containers. A budgeted water for the laundry, for taking a bath, for dishes, and for all domestic use. Thirty pesos for a container of safe water, potable enough to substitute for every meal they've missed.

After an early breakfast, all members of the family gotta get a job even just for that day, to survive for the next. No one goes to school. Only some lucky ones goes to school, but would immediately stop in middle high school or even without graduating elementary because of poverty. The father and the mother tries to sell something eatable delicacies in the street, joining the busy crowd to look for some food. To compete with other vendors in the street too.

While the elders are busy hunting for coins to buy some foods, the children are giggling in the streets playing innocently. In their smile, you can see happiness without any hesitations and worries. They are contented with their life. Their feet, barely ran the roads, under the scorching heat of the sun. Smiles that warm every sorrowed heart. Giggles that touches every heart.

As the sun rises, all of the kids and tired elders, get to sleep. Rest to acquire energy for the next tiresome job. The streets leaved alone. With few plastics and candy wrappers. There were also some slippers without its pair, maybe the owner had leave it when his/her mother called him/her for a sleep.

By three in the afternoon, everybody back to work, the children will play again in the streets. Some are enjoying some snacks and some are just playing. Like a trade fair, there are many booths. There are selling snacks, juices, syrup coated bananas, Filipino delicacies and any home made snacks.

As the darkness closes in, slowly the number of children generates. It was there favorite play time. No sun to touch their skin, more people passing by, more fun. They will run and play until 10:00 in the night. After a tiresome game, they'll go home hungry. Sharing the food that their parents generates through the day. Eating happily with dried fish and smoked fish, contently.

They will sleep with smile in their lips. Waiting for the tomorrow to come for another fun games.

That is how simple life is. They live without any too high ambitions and dreams. Living everyday to the fullest.A life without big debts to pay and a life not sure of tomorrow. Well whatever comes tomorrow, that's another page of life. To be opened tomorrow and to be solved tomorrow. A life of less aims, less frustrations and more happiness. Real happiness.#

slowly but surely

Local migration, specifically the migration of the younger labor force. How does this affect the migrant and the whole society? Basically it affects the individual characteristics, in the life cycle and the socio-economic status in the society. The family that usually depends the remittances were directly linked to the society and thus, it makes the migrant linked to the society's imbalance. It also affects the cultural reservation and improvement to bot place due to cross marriages and adaptation to new environments thereafter. Learning new knowledge while trashing the old fashions, style, belief and lifestyle and sometimes forgetting their own perspective.

While the place of origins(specifically rural areas), losses the younger labor force together with its brain and strength, the host place (urban areas) gains. Though on the other hand, migration promises more opportunity; such as jobs of bigger wages, new learning, tourism to the host place and remittance benefits to the place of origin.

Lets take for example the housemaid who travel far from provinces and work down n the urbanized areas, serving the family not even related to them. What was their main purpose on migrating for work? Half of them work for their family, sending their younger siblings to school while sacrificing their own dreams. One-fourth of them work for their self improvement that includes working while studying which often leads to body abuse. The other one-fourth works mainly for improving the quality of life they have in the province.

When does local migration becomes risky? How does a migrant identify the risk and benefits of migration? Unawareness is a common factor of why migrants risk to migrate without proper orientation and unsure of destination. Promised to get a good and high paying job, ignorant young migrants are easily drawn into trouble. Human trafficking is also one of the factors. It happens to both local and international work market. Migrants usually end up working as prostitutes and/or slaves for the higher class families. In case of local migration, (Philippines for specific) identifying migrants is not an easy task. Since transferring from one place to another is easy and staying in the house of the relatives even for longer times is a normal thing.

In the society, the most obvious scenario is the over population in the urban areas which consist of local migrants from the provinces. Often staying in the streets with kids roaming around and begging for food. Most of them are native from the provinces who intentionally migrate to urban areas. Begging and collecting garbage are their common jobs.

On the job-opportunity, local migrants often leave the real residents over-powered in job applications. Servicing the people which is not really a part of the original residents, housing the unauthorized residents.

Although the higher number of migrants offers tourism jobs in return, if not properly manage, may cause to exploitation of young migrants and brain drain to most of the provinces.

SO what are the things we need to do? Firstly, proper distribution of job resources all over the country. A one: one ratio of building establishments between rural and urban areas. It will leave every place an equal job opportunity. Making the rural areas be urbanized. Thus, the government should also consider the size of the area and its population. The labor force (younger ones) will always find a place where job is more attainable and sustainable. In tat case, they will never need to migrate, if job opportunities is just in their backyard. Removing the rural and urban classification will also help eliminate the discrimination between people. To start, it would require proper zoning in every place. Establish a balance area where agricultural and business sector gear up together. Every zone should limit the number of inhabitants. It will tackle the population control which will directly take effect to the next responsible citizens, the younger labor force. Since church were separated from government (in Philippines), the government should impose a mandatory birth control programs. A family should get a certain number of offspring according to its capability to raise a child. Giving for example that a middle class family should only ave two kids, under them will only have one and higher to them will only have three as the maximum. It will then result to mandatory sending of the kids to school. The community population should be limited according to its resources and size. The constant updating of birthing status should then follow.

Second and last, proper distribution of skill and non-skill workers. A resident-first policy will help. Focusing on the younger labor force in the society. It will help the young workers to stop migrating. Bigger number of migrants in a certain area should consist of tourist and business investors. Thus, it will help boast the tourism jobs. Migrant worker should get and present a permit-to-work to another place in every establishment. Controlling the migrants from going in and out will help for faster tracking of illegal businesses, work abuse (concerning employees) and to avoid the discrimination and exploitation of human rights. Local migrant, worker/non-worker, should only get a limited time of stay in a certain place. Giving opportunity to others to migrate, specially the migration of young brains for learning processes, and for learning the difference of economical and social runs in every place.

The government should also create a border within every area t control the coming in and out of migrants legally. Even the residents going out for a vacation and/or for some events, should also be tracked. The place of origin will then report to the place of destination for the coming of the certain person going out from its area of responsibility. This will help the local government develop transparency towards each other.

You cannot raise a fruitful tree over night. You need to water it everyday, keep an eye on it to protect from the harm of wild animals that might eat its leaves. You also need to trim it sometimes for it to grow according to what you want it to be. Even after the first harvest, you will still need to constantly take care of it for a constant good fruit harvest.

Implementation of laws and policies on people is also like that, keeping an eye, trimming sometimes, protecting them from harms. You need to do it constantly for constant effect.

There are a lot of laws and policies to stop or alleviate this migration issues. The society didn't ask for a sudden change which what the government is trying to do. A total stop to the issue may affect the whole country, since they are a big part of the ecosystem in the society. Though its risky and sometimes done illegally, most of the people still benefits them. It may cause massive shock to the economical state of the country. So as to do the action for changing better, may means doing it slowly but surely. Until the people get use to it. Total awareness can be acquired trough consistency. Therefore, consistency is the firs thing to watch above all this issue.#

healthy brain....how?...read this

1. Let it exercise

Playing chess, solving calculus math problems, and answering trivia questions; those might be your idea of exercising your brain. Well they can be, but what I mean is do it literally. Not as literal as putting out your brain muscles and stretch it. Do some aerobics and loose some moves that you are hiding out of the spotlight.

As we age, our brain cells, called neurons, lose the tree-branch-like connections between them. These connections, or synapses, are essential to thought. Quite literally, over time, our brains lose their heft.

Aerobic exercise increases capillary development in the brain, meaning more blood supply, more nutrients and — a big requirement for brain health — more oxygen. It may even restore memory.

Fit people have sharper brains (though not all), and people who are out of shape, but then get into shape, sharpen up their brains.
Just as important, exercise starves off heart disease, obesity, diabetes and other maladies that increase the risk of brain problems as we age.

People who are active are also having positive outlooks in their life according to researches. Their set of minds is also at ease, keeping a calm poise in every situation.

2. Keep it full

Another path to a better brain is through your stomach.
Antioxidants is not just keeping your appearance looking young. Those antioxidants are also good for your body, fighting aging related diseases, and that includes your brain.
Reading and listening helps your brain grow ideas that essential for your daily life not just for exams and tests on school that you are usually cramming for every time it comes.

Eating the proper way and proper foods is not just good for your body but also for your brain,
(you can also check for my post "coffee coffee coffee" and "get fats for your brain")

3. Speed It Up
Our brains naturally start slowing down at the cruelly young age of 30
It used to be thought that this couldn’t be helped, but a barrage of new studies show that people of any age can train their brains to be faster and, in effect, younger.
Given the right tools, we can train our brains to act like they did when we were younger. All that’s required is dedicated practice: exercises for the mind.
What you think your mind can do actually depends on what you want it to function for. Since your brain is the center of your body it controls all the things that you are going to do.
If you make a habit of thinking fast so the brain can function faster, it will get use to it, and could possibly improve as you go along.

4. Stay Calm
Breathe. Relax.

While challenging your brain is very important, remaining calm is equally so. In a paper on the brain and stress, Jeansok Kim of the University of Washington asserts, in no uncertain terms, that traumatic stress is bad for your brain cells. Stress can “disturb cognitive processes such as learning and memory, and consequently limit the quality of human life,” writes Kim.

One example is a part of the brain called the hippocampus, which is a primary locus of memory formation, but which can be seriously debilitated by chronic stress. Of course, physical exercise is always a great destressor, as are calmer activities like yoga and meditation. And when you line up your mental calisthenics (your Swahili and swing lessons), make sure you can stay loose and have fun.

Before doing anything, before reacting to something, have a habit of counting from 1-10, or breathing in and out for three to five times. IF at ease, your brain function at its best and could avoid you from more stressful situations and circumstances.

5. Give It a Rest

While on rest, you allowed your brain to have a look from the outer view of the things. It is like restoring the energy you have lost from deciding things. Giving your brain some rest is one way of putting it back to its normal pace, where it could think without the pressure; thinking for more better not because of pressure.
As what they say, a machine that runs 24 hours, easily get defects due to over heat. Just like your brain, without rest, it might lose some of its efficiency you used to enjoy.

Get Fats For Your Brain

Get Fats For Your Brain

The human body was designed to love fatty foods in part because of the needs of the brain. We should choose the “good” kinds of fats, skipping the dangerous ones and adding plenty of brain-healthy ones.

The brain is made mostly of fat, which not only forms the membranes around cells that regulate what gets in and out of them but also insulates the bundles of nerve fibers that act as high-speed communication cables in the brain. It shouldn't be too shocking, then, to learn that fat is the single most important nutrient for protecting and preserving brain function. Eating a low-fat or, worse, a no-fat diet is actually the worst thing you can do for your brain. What the brain craves most are the omega-3 fats. They turn on the genes that determine how the brain develops, repair and preserve brain cells, enable the cells to deliver signals efficiently, and may even facilitate the growth of new cells. Studies show that without enough omega-3s, the brain can't function properly. Over time, lack of omega-3s may even contribute to the development of Alzheimer's disease. Unfortunately, most people don't eat nearly enough of these good fats.

So don't be afraid to eat those fats you are trying to avoid. Just always keep in mind that "too much is bad".
Be generous to your body and brain, foods are created to be eaten.
In proper way, you can benefit to the foods that most people avoid.
Fats like those that came from fish oils and olive oils are good not just for your brain but also for your heart.
Check your ref now and eat smart.

Eat fish
Switch to olive oil
walnuts
walnut oil
flax seed oil

coffee coffee coffee

Wake up and smell the coffee: “It’s amazing,” says liver specialist Sanjiv Chopra, MD, professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. “Coffee is truly a lifesaving miracle drug.”..(credits to http://www.rd.com)

Though he says it’s still a “scientific mystery” how a simple cup of coffee works its wonders in the body, large epidemiological studies repeatedly verify its astonishing benefits. Some recent research highlights:

More than three cups a day lowers women’s risk of developing the most common skin cancer by 20 percent.
More than six cups a day cuts men’s risk of dying from prostate cancer by 60 percent.
Drinking at least one cup of coffee a day lowers women’s risk of stroke by up to 25 percent.
Consuming at least two cups daily reduces women’s chances of becoming depressed by up to 20 percent.

“Drink it black, or at most put a little skim milk in it” to minimize calories, Dr. Chopra recommends. The benefits from decaf may not be as prodigious, so stick with regular if you can tolerate the buzz. Dr. Chopra drinks at least four cups a day himself, though most people should limit themselves to two. And no, he jokes, “I’m not sponsored by Starbucks.”

After reading this readers digest article i am just so happy to say that my coffee addiction has nothing to harm me.....
Honestly, I was just so addicted to coffee that I would get headaches if I miss a coffee a day.....
Base on my own experience, every time I drink coffee, my brain works more faster and calmer than usual....
During high school days, I prefer to drink coffee before reading and writing assignments and reports....
Well Im not that bad in school, I am a contributor on our publication office....
Also, Coffee made me feel great every day. ....
Less stress and I can easily control my freaks....
Unlike those days without coffee, I usually burst out every time I get mad.....

So, whats stopping you to brew your coffee?
Try it yourself and share your thoughts....

for their eyes only

Politically, we, youth, seldom join the debate. We don't like it that much, joining in the debates regarding the problems and leaks of the government. Yes, its true we don't notice much of the government issues, but we care. In where? In everyday expenses, like fares going to the school. We are thinking and trying to analyze what does the government had accomplished to alleviate price hike in most of the prime commodities in the community. They may did their best but we still have some suggestions regarding those issues that also affects us.

Emotionally, we, youth, often kept our thoughts inside us. Even joining the circle of concern elder citizens, mostly, our voices were never heard and categorized as emotionally based reactions and judged as weak. We really understand what is happening in the community but we also knew well that even heated much to catch the attention of the concerned ones in the society, our voices will still be invalid. Unless a tragical thing will happen. Take for example the issues of the heroes graves. Wherever your body was buried, if you did the good deeds when you were still alive, the people who knew you will look your memories back as a heroic actions. So why does some person needs to fight to be buried in the heroes grave.

Mentally, we know very much that we are still not fully nourished with the knowledge needed to take much bigger responsibilities. That's why, we are just waiting for our turn to take the bigger actions in the society, while doing our best to become a part of a responsible citizens later. Slowly but surely, that's it maybe. We sharpen our minds through the experience of the responsible citizens in the society right now.

You maybe didn't notice but we are thinking more better solutions of today's issues to obtain a more livable society the moment our time to counter part the leading role will come.

As of now, we live the life at ease while gathering enough strength for tomorrows challenges. Living the simpler part, allows you to see the bigger part of the equation. It also allows you to learn the basics. Because in the end, what we wanted to see is the simplified picture of the goal.

uh uh uh...be sure.....

here you are again
walking in the garden
where lovely flowers reign
seems you don't know where to begin

you passed me
for a while you smelled me
in a second you held me
with your hand you caressed me

i saw you smile
the spark in your eyes
that melts my petals
but then i never realized

you looked around
and leave me behind
a new flower you found
you threw me in the ground

seems you're never contented
you keep on walking and collected
flowers of good smell and color
to praise your amor

somebody comes in the garden
the moment you want to pick me again
but he already held me in his arms
protecting and caring with his warmth

why did you let me go
wanting me when somebody already do
you cant take me from him
you never choose me back then

but just when i need you the most
you go away without a cause

wrapping gifts and warming greets
how could i forget
those smiles with you
makes me feel anew

seasons coldness sway
why did you go away
please come back to me

HIDE INTO THE BRIGHT SIDE

(A Life in the Country of Storm Road)
It was September 26 (2009), a cold, seems freezing breeze in the morning, welcomed the whole house with smooth breeze of chilling wind by the window. As what I usually does, I made a cup of coffee and watch news on television. After coffee, I cleaned and then took a bath. After fixing everything I might need, I open the internet shop where I work. No one spotted the difference in the clouds and the movements of the wind. It was a new day face with and nothing to worry about. Not until by 8:00 in the morning.
The rain started to fall and it goes heavier and heavier. I still got plenty of customers and all of them with there buddies and pals felt worried about the scenario, but not me. I already know last night that there will be a storm to come and I have partially prepared for it.Besides I got a bunch of buddies with me to help me just in case I will be needing help in the middle of the storm. Asking if am I that strong and brave enough to face it? Partially because I know how to swim just in case that the water might reach high level. Above all, I know He's with me all the time, wherever I go He'll be guiding me to safety. I'm confident enough to face the storm they are worrying with. Of course I already charged my mobile phone during the time the weather forecaster announces the coming of the storm.
Disaster? NO, its not what "Ondoy" just bring. He has brought so much real things, but it goes implied.During the experience of striving and struggling to stay away from storm prone areas, we always remember the Holy Rosary, am I right? But those days that you won a thousand in the sweepstakes, have you shared your blessings? Did you prepare yourself for any circumstances that you'll be needing His guidance? Probably, you didn't plan to have a romantic date with your love ones in the middle of waste segregation program held in your own street.Have you remember those recess time during your high school days? Where did you always put your candy wrapper? Your chips plastic, your soda can?
Those are simple things that matters much and could affect almost a half of your life. Did you saw the plastic wrapper floating in the river nowadays? That might be yours when you throw it unintentionally on the window of your Chevrolet, limousine or in the bus. We usually ignore those things knowing it could affect the safety of the mother nature we are inhabiting in.Looking on the other side of the reality's challenges will lead us to see whats the bottom line and what it's for. The coming of the storm every now and then in Asian countries is not new to each one of us. During storms, what we always see in the news are the evacuees, crowded relocation sites, relief operations, heroism of good ones who had saved some in the middle of the storm. But we seldom heard about whats the real bottom line of consequent appearance of the storms and how the environment reacts to it. storms are natures way of eliminating and controlling the rapid growth of population. It really depends on the environment and its composition in every country, effect of every storm. By building our habitat right in a strong foundation without doing any hazardous thing to a greener earth.
First of all, He brings joy to the squatter children when he gave them the artificial swimming pool road wide. He provides free shower to the children who cannot afford even a pail of water to take a bath. Its a momentous event that they will treasure 'till their adulthood. If only all of us thinks like a child, we could see all those real things. Those things that only children can appreciate brings smiles and laughter to the less fortunate ones.Ignoring the dirt in the water, still they enjoy the artificial road wide pool that the storm had brought. They savor the storm as a blessing for they will again enjoy a nice bath in which they cannot afford even a pail of it during summer time where water is a must and very in demand.
Secondly, the storm let the employees get some rest and share some times with their family. A moment that is rare and best thing to treasure. An emergency leave as what we can call it. An experience of sharing one story in the table with the whole family, the giggling innocents laughing for the fathers joke. How nice your boss will be if he could lend you one office time just to spend it in the table with your family talking about lighter things that digs deeper happiness.
Thirdly, it digs the deeper side of the Asian people. Help for each other showed off. Caring for the fellowmen, are the responsibilities that the storm heroes signed for. Unity amidst the calamity is great not just for the eyes of he humans but also in His eyes. Its flattering when you know that your fellowmen never leaves you the moment you are down and in need of help. The generosity of concern folks caters the evacuation centers. The last slice of bread in the table that maybe thrown away was sent to the needy and evolve into a sweet smile of a child that surpass the rumbling sound of his stomach.
Lastly, it was the lesson that he bring and planted on our mind and was hoping that we got the message his storm clan was trying to let us know with. To save and protect the mother earth that's starting to sink in junk we are doing. Those storms were starting to remove some areas on the map. It were not remove in mass destruction for God wants us to prepare. Just like His judgment it will come like a theft in the daylight or in the midnight were everybody is asleep. We should be prepared, we should fold our cloth and ready them in the closet where we could get it fast the time the judgment comes. But the judgment will come as fast as a blink of an eye where no one can prepare their goods and necessities for the destruction of the wicked.
Every second counts, every drop was as precious as the highest treasure in the universe, that each one of us should be alarmed for the coming of the judgment and their death. We should not be afraid of death, it was the God we should put first in mind, of what will He judge on our life. On how we spent it in the world of temptations aiming to destruct His Power.
We already got the lessons from the storms that passes us by. Its intended for the preparation for the next storms to come.
Its not just literally means that there will be a storm like Ondoy to come this 2010, its implied that we should preserve mother nature to prevent revenge from the environment.
Now that Falcon has come and did almost the same thing as Ondoy did. The scenario will still be the same. Nothing will change, and the world will never change. You should experience it by your self. The power is in your hand. Storms or typhoons are expected to come and visit our country. It is our own duty to do the preparations and be ready no matter how strong the storm will come. The rain will never turn into flood if you learn to clean your canals and you knew where to throw the trashes in a proper way. Stop blaming each one of us, why not start it on your own.
Self discipline is the primary count to start the battle of re greening the earth just as before. Universal change will start on each one of us to benefit the whole bio treasure. What is planted now will be ripped by next seven generation. Its not a food coloring that will color immediately right after you pour it in. It takes time to regenerate the broken piece of mother earth.
Taking the right steps today will lead to a better way for the generation to follow. We should not worry about dying, we should take everything on the brighter side so we could see those hidden treasures and gifts behind the hardships it brings. Because after the storm there is the rainbow arching the world to show that life's still colorful.
That the sun will appear just right after the clouds are gone. Above all the challenges amidst the calamities, still we stand strong keeping the passion for each other still glowing and always available for each one of us to help in time of hardship. Just like what my father had always told me, "life must go on". All these things happening unto us are entitled to be charged to experience, these should not be buried to forgotten past. Holding these as a guiding lesson as we strive to survive the life's struggle in the near future will lend us at least a bunch of strength to conquer life.#

wala pa akong buto nun, maingat mo akong karga.

matiyaga mong nililinis. Salamat talaga.

Salamat din, dahil natuto din akong magsalita. Kahit puro mamamamma lang at papappapa. Gayun pa man,

Inay, the best
hero God had sent to me.
